Global Warming Religion!

It appears that we can add yet another topic to the list of “no fly zone” conversations you should bring up at cocktail parties in mixed company? Yep, religion and politics are hardly alone, move over for a little hot air and watch the Global Warming hotheads ignite with anger when you bring up anything to do with Global Warming.

Of course, if we analyze this situation and consider that the beginnings of all religions started with worship of our natural surroundings and environment, we can see why Global Warming has turned into a religious like mental issue for so many. Too, it is propped up with incessant headlines warning of us of the future doom and gloom; a hell on Earth if you will. One that is sure to disrupt all human life, if we do not act immediately.

The Global Warming Alarmists blame any major event in the World on Global Warming. Hurricanes, beach erosion, ice storms, heat waves, 1-inch in a decade ocean levels rising, polar bear population increases or even Earthquakes. It’s much like the negative Bush Administration bashing where they blame everything on President Bush including Continental Drift, Mars Atmosphere and Global Warming itself.

Recently, in Malibu, I talked with a real estate agent lady, skinny little blonde thing with an attitude and she told me Global Warming was causing houses to fall into the ocean. I laughed and told her, well here is one for you. Rule of Thumb; “Don’t buy a ocean condo where you can fish off balcony!”

She got really angry at me and told me more sports car was obnoxious and had way too big of an engine, was a gas hog and that she was not going to show many anymore properties because obviously, I didn’t care about Global Warming and thus, I would never fit in, in the “Bu” which is local slang here for Malibu? Oh, please give me a break.
