Change laws not just light bulbs!

The above headline is taken from here.

The entire idea of new laws kinda proves my point! This IS a political issue more than an environmental issue. Quote “It is far more important to change the laws and the treaty obligations that nations have” OK sounds good, but who really foots the biggest brunt of these new laws? The U.S. of course! This is merely an attempt at a power grab and bigger government.

Some of you are probably saying ‘whoa, you hate the environment!’ I say BS! I love the environment but I recognize a snake when I see one. This climate change snake is getting ready to bite where it really hurts (Americans), in the wallet. Can you imagine the disaster Kyoto would have been? If these people have their way with us, Kyoto will look like childs play! Oh, and these are the same people whining about outsourcing… what the hell do they think new, ignorant laws will do. They know as well as you do, MORE outsourcing!

Save the environment, buy a book!

Texas UFO’s

It has been a couple of weeks since the news of the Texas UFO sightings hit the news. I have watched in amazement as hundreds of people have described what the saw in the central Texas sky startin Jan 8, 2008. I watch in amazement because what most people are describing, is far from what I saw!

Yes, I saw something too, but did not care to report it to anyone because I don’t really care if anyone believes me or not! I have watched strange UFO’s in the same area for at least 15 years. I have mentioned it to friends and family, but just as a conversation starter. My own wife really though I was just making things up for the last ten years. Not anymore!

On Jan 8, 2008 around 9:00pm, my wife and I were returning home from a quick tip to the convienience store about five blocks from our home. As I began to cross a somewht busy intersection, I noticed ’strange lights’ to the west of our location. I immidiately stopped in the middle of the intersection effectively blocking a few vehicles that were coming. As I stopped, I told my wife “LOOK” and pointed towards the lights. She saw what I was pointing at and with a few choice words, stared in amazement!

I don’t know what we saw that night. It was a mass of large white lights just above treetop level. There were five lights in the group that we could see. At first the lights seemed to rise from behind the treeline (couldn’t see the treeline, it was dark). After they rose, they seemed to slowly move erratically around one another slowly for about a minute, and then they just went out. Some of the lights were also partially obscured by a two story building.

I had no intention of going public with what my wife and I witnessed, until the military claimed that I was watching some F-16’s training!

We DID NOT see F-16’s until after the ‘lights’ had been gone for about fifteen minutes! Ok, so what qualifies me to say I wasn’t watching military aircraft that night? Simple, I spent several years as an FAA certified Air Traffic Controller, working mostly at night in a control tower. Oh, and this time was also served in the military. I have observed almost all types of military aircraft at night, sometimes for hours at a time. With this training and experience, I had gotten pretty good at judging distance and size of aircraft I was viewing. What my wife and I saw that night (before the jets) was immensely larger than any known aircraft in the US Inventory.

To get a better understanding of the size, compare a grapefruit to a pea. The grapefruit is the lights we saw, the pea is the jets in the same area moments later!

I will elaborate more on this story later if there is a demand for it. If you would like to get a very good idea of what we saw, go to videoflag.com and search for “Phoenix Lights”. This is almost exactly what we saw. The internet video isn’t as clear as desired, but there is a TV show with Peter Jennings (where I first saw this video) that has crystal clear video!

I realize what we saw wasn’t what people in Stephenville, Texas saw. People in Stephenville saw a variety of different things that night. You can google Stephenville Ufo or Texas UFO to get a sampling of what they saw.

Thanks for your time and watch the skies!

End of the world

AeroGarden...Try It Free!!

Well, according to the History Cahnnel, the greatest threat to mankind is climate change! I watch the History Channel ALOT and have no aversion to seeing opposing points of view. However, when global warming was listed recently as the number one cause of mankinds destruction, I had to comment!

This had to be the most biased show I have yet seen on the great History Channel. Clime change is more destructive than rouge nations and nuclear weapons? C’mon, get serious. I am wondering if Al Gore had a hand in the production of the drivel!

Ok, maybe climate change is manmade, maybe climate change is harmful, maybe global warming is happening. MAYBE! There are alot of maybe’s when it comes to climate change but there is NO DOUBT as to the effects of a nuclear weapon or an asteroid strike. There are no maybe’s on certain low life groups (and countries) trying to acquire these deadly weapons of mass destruction.

Sure, MAYBE climate change will have a drastic effect in 30-50 years from now. It seems obvious to me that if we can’t get a handle on who acquires nuclear technology, there may be no one here to worry about it in the near future!
